What is Morpheus8 Body?

The Morpheus8 body treatment uses the proven Morpheus8 technology to tighten and lift skin across various areas of the body. While Morpheus8 is most commonly used for facial rejuvenation, its core technology is still highly effective in other areas of the body.

How Does Morpheus8 Body Work?

Morpheus8 combines microneedling with radiofrequency (RF) energy. The microneedling process uses small needles to puncture the skin’s surface and trigger a healing response from the body. Then, the body produces new collagen to heal the skin, with the remaining excess collagen used to rejuvenate the surrounding areas. During the microneedling process, RF energy is delivered to the skin tissue, reaching both superficial and deeper layers of the skin. RF energy further stimulates collagen production while also triggering immediate skin tightening. Combined, microneedling and RF technologies trigger dramatic skin rejuvenation

What is the Morpheus8 Body Treatment Like?

Before Morpheus8 treatments, we’ll apply a topical anesthetic gel to help minimize discomfort. As treatment begins, we’ll use the Morpheus8 handpiece to deliver radiofrequency energy and microneedling to the desired areas of the body. You may feel a slight warming or prickling sensation as the treatment is performed. Generally, Morpheus8 treatments are booked for two hours. However, the length of your treatment can vary depending on the exact number and size of the areas being treated.

Is There any Downtime After Morpheus8 Body Treatments?

As a minimally-invasive procedure, the Morpheus8 treatment requires minimal downtime and has very few side effects. Your skin may appear red, swollen and dry in the days following treatment. These symptoms typically fade within a week, but we encourage patients to protect their skin in the meantime by using sunscreen, avoiding excessive sun exposure and keeping the skin moisturized. Despite these side effects, you will be able to resume work and other normal activities within a day of treatment.

What Results Can I Expect from Morpheus8 Body?

Many patients begin to notice results from their Morpheus8 treatment within a few days, as the procedure triggers immediate skin-tightening benefits. However, the bulk of your results will develop gradually in the weeks following treatment as collagen is produced in the body. You can expect to notice more significant results about one month after treatment, with the full results visible approximately three months after treatment. Furthermore, we may recommend a series of up to three treatment sessions for optimal results (4-6 for acne scarring).
