Morpheus8 Body Contouring in Biloxi, MS

Morpheus8 is a versatile tissue remodeling system that can effectively address loose skin and related signs of aging nearly anywhere on the body. Michael Diaz, M.D., F.A.C.S., a board-certified plastic surgeon in Biloxi, MS, is proud to offer this advanced treatment solution to residents in Southern Mississippi, Louisiana and Alabama.

What is Morpheus8?

Morpheus8 is a minimally invasive body contouring treatment that tightens and lifts the skin by delivering radiofrequency energy to the body. When delivered to the skin tissue, radiofrequency energy triggers skin tightening and stimulates collagen production. With increased collagen, the body is able to further tighten and lift the skin naturally. However, Morpheus8 is particularly effective because it combines these radiofrequency benefits with a microneedling technique. With microneedling, small needles are used to puncture the skin’s surface and trigger a healing response from the body. The body produces collagen to heal the skin, with excess collagen remaining to further rejuvenate the surrounding areas. By combining microneedling and radiofrequency, Morpheus8 can reach deeper layers of skin tissue, stimulate greater collagen production and ultimately produce better results.

What are the Benefits of Morpheus8?

The benefits of the Morpheus8 treatment are largely a result of its advanced technology and unique combination of microneedling + radiofrequency. These benefits include:

  • Smooth and tighten the skin by restoring collagen
  • Reduce acne scars
  • Suitable for all areas of the body
  • High efficacy thanks to radiofrequency + microneedling
  • Safe for nearly all skin types
  • Results in as little as one treatment
  • Minimal downtime
What is the Morpheus8 Treatment Like?

The Morpheus8 can be uncomfortable, but discomfort is managed with a topical anesthetic gel. During the treatment, the Morpheus8 handpiece will be maneuvered around the desired treatment areas, delivering radiofrequency energy and microneedling to the skin and underlying tissue. You may feel a slight warming or prickling sensation as the treatment is performed. Generally, Morpheus8 treatments are booked for two hours. You will spend one hour with the numbing gel on the face/body and then the treatment takes approximately 30 and 60 minutes.

Is There Any Downtime After Morpheus8?

As a minimally-invasive procedure, the Morpheus8 treatment requires minimal downtime and has very few side effects. Your skin may appear red, swollen and dry in the days following treatment. These symptoms typically fade within a week, but we encourage patients to protect their skin in the meantime by using sunscreen, avoiding excessive sun exposure and keeping the skin moisturized. Despite these side effects, you will be able to resume work and other normal activities within a day of treatment.

What Results Can I Expect from Morpheus8?

Many patients begin to notice results from their Morpheus8 treatment within a few days, as the procedure triggers immediate skin-tightening benefits. However, the bulk of your results will develop gradually in the weeks following treatment as collagen is produced in the body. You can expect to notice more significant results about one month after treatment, with the full results visible approximately three months after treatment. Furthermore, we may recommend a series of up to three treatment sessions for optimal results (4-6 for acne scarring).

How Much Does Morpheus8 Cost in Mississippi?
