What is the FaceTite Treatment Like?

The FaceTite treatment is performed under general anesthetic. As treatment begins, the needle tip of the FaceTite device will be inserted beneath the skin in the desired treatment area. This needle will emit radiofrequency energy to the nearby tissue. Simultaneously, an external device will be placed on the skin’s surface, delivering additional radiofrequency energy to the same area. The FaceTite device will be maneuvered around the treatment area until it has been adequately addressed. This treatment is typically performed in one to two hours.

Is There Any Downtime After FaceTite?

As a minimally-invasive procedure, the FaceTite treatment requires minimal downtime and has very few side effects. Following treatment, you can expect some swelling, soreness and bruising in the treatment area that may last about one to two weeks. Despite these side effects, you will be able to return to work and all other activities within under a week of treatment. We may recommend additional post-treatment care depending on your particular treatment plan.

What Results Can I Expect from FaceTite?

You will begin to notice results from FaceTite as soon as any side effects fade, as the treatment triggers an instant tightening reaction in the skin. However, the full results from treatment will not be visible for several weeks, after the body has produced new collagen and implemented it into the skin. Typically, about 3 months after your treatment date, you can expect to see the full results of treatment. Most patients only require one treatment for optimal results, and these results will last for many years to come.
